Members will be provided with access to a remote GP via the Medipartner Platform.
The service includes the following:
- E-Consultations with a GP via an online webcam at a time to suit. E-Consultations can be booked between 8am-10pm (Mon-Fri), 8am-8pm (Saturdays), 10am- 6pm (Sundays). The services are not available on bank holidays.
- Telephone consultations with a GP, available 24/7, 7 days a week
- Private prescription – if considered appropriate by the GP and in accordance with the General Medical Council’s remote prescribing guidelines the GP may offer the Member a private prescription. If the Member agrees to private prescription medication, the GP will send an electronic prescription directly to the pharmacy which can also be delivered to the Member’s home. The Member will have to pay the cost of any prescriptions and delivery.The Member will be quoted an exact cost before any order commitment is made.
